Cloudflare Introduces Kitesurf Browser for AI Agents
Lightweight Rust browser runs inside Workers for agent tasks.
Cloudflare announced Kitesurf, a browser written in Rust that runs entirely on its Workers platform. The company says Chromium is too heavy for giving each AI agent its own instance, so Kitesurf spins up per request. It is available free in beta at the linked blog post. Staff posts note it uses v8 isolates and mention a test run of Doom inside the browser.
