Corma Announces $60M Seed Round Led by Sequoia
Startup launches with Sequoia backing to build AI models for defensive cybersecurity.
Alon Pluda posted that Corma is launching and raising a $60M seed round led by Sequoia. The company builds foundation models toward superintelligence for defensive cybersecurity. Pluda stated that general AI improves faster at offensive security than at cyber defense. Sequoia partners Sonya Huang and Shaun Maguire replied to the post, as did investors Tal Broda and Dan Roberts. Comments described the effort as ahead on agentic cyber defense and noted that the project is now out of stealth.
