Ramp Launches Router.com for AI Model Routing
Ramp acquired router.com and opened its internal AI routing tool to the public.
Ramp bought router.com and launched the site as a public service. The tool accepts AI requests through one endpoint and routes each to a model across providers based on cost, latency, and performance. Ramp CEO Eric Glyman posted that customers spend 40 percent less for the same work. Founding engineer Veeral Patel said early users save 40 percent on average. Ramp's official account stated its customers buy quadrillions of tokens monthly through the company and that it ran its own AI on the router for three years before opening access.
